💊 Free Health Services Provided
With the help of our dedicated healthcare team and medical volunteers, the outreach featured a full day of free services, including:
Medical consultations for common illnesses, chronic conditions, and general check-ups
Malaria testing and treatment
Maternal and child health support, including prenatal assessments and distribution of maternity kits
Hygiene education sessions focusing on handwashing, menstrual hygiene, and sanitation practices
Deworming and vitamin supplementation for children
Referrals for patients needing further medical attention
🎉 Community Response & Impact
The turnout was overwhelming. Many beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the free care, especially in areas where access to health facilities is limited or unaffordable. Several pregnant women shared that this was their first prenatal check-up, while elderly residents received blood pressure screenings for the first time.
Village heads and community stakeholders praised SCDI for “bringing hope and healing” and called for more regular interventions.
